AVAILLL Term 4

This term we have been learning AVAILLL.

My favourite part of AVAILLL was the last word where we had to remember that last word that had been said and that was in the subtittle.Mr Rule paused it at a set time and we had to write down the last word.

WHAT?
My goal is to develop the consistent use of our CARE Values towards all the people I interact with and for myself .

SO WHAT?

My strengths are in being an Active Thinker  because I am able to do jobs without being asked,I am able to be nice to people when they are down and have no one to play with and do the jobs no one will do.
I have achieved my Bronze certificate.
I have almost achieved my Silver  certificate.

NOW WHAT?
I really want to get my gold this year because I have only gold my gold in year 3.

For PE/Sport my goals were to use:

Art Attack 2017




WHAT?

For art attack my goal was to produce a piece of art related to our local landscape using either paint, water colour or pastel.

With Mrs Marsh I learned about foreground, midground and background in landscapes.
With Mr Forman I learned about colour and complementary colours.
With Mr Rule I looked at the different landscape features of Canterbury and Banks Peninsula.

SO WHAT?
In Mrs Marsh's class we learnt about the forground,the midground and the background.
In Mr Rules class we learnt about where the horizion line should go.



The techniques I used  water colour - wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry
 I enjoyed getting to use the water colours because it was a new experience
I am proud of the finishing
I found it  Easy

NOW WHAT?

I would like to try paint because it will be darker
I would like to get better at  showing the backround

What?

I learned about different countries and cultures.

So What?

statistical investigation

What?I am learning gather data to produce a statistical investigation.

So What?I have learned that the steps to a statistical investigation are 1 chose a question ,2 gather the data,3 analysis the data,4 produce a statistical investigation.

Now What?I have learned that analysing the data takes time my next step is to analyse the data properly.

ANZAC Blog 1

Term 2 Highlights

Things I have enjoyed are:
-Winter Sport because it's a different  opportunity that not many students get to do.
-SSR and SSW because it 's a new part of our learning.
-Passion Project because it's when we get to do that is part of an  interest we have.

Music

What is my learning goal?My learning goal is to rap and make raps.

What have I learned?I have learned that a rap has to have a ryming word on every second or first line.

What is my next step?My next step in raping is to be able to rap without a sheet of paper to guide me.

Dance With Dean

WHAT?
IHBL: a hip routine
         a cha cha routine
         to combine different movements into a dance routine to Treasure by Bruno Mars
         to combine different cha cha moves into a dance routine to can't stop the feeling by Justin Timberlake.
         
So What?


        I really enjoyed being able to take part in the whole thing.
        My favourite movement / dance was the robot.
        I found cha cha the most challenging.
        What I enjoyed most about Dean’s teaching was he was infostiastic.
        I feel quite very confident with the dance routines we learned.
        I was able pick up the different dance routines easily and quickly .
        I found remembering the correct sequence for the dance routines easy.
        
         I loved that fact that there were so many people there.


Now what?


        I would like to do further dance lessons.
        I would like to learn conteperery.
